How We Work

Hiring a consultant is a risk. Here is exactly how an engagement runs, how progress is measured, and how it ends with your team owning the work.

The process

Four phases

  1. Listen first First 30 days

We set baselines and learn how the work actually gets done, not how the org chart says it should. Nothing changes until we understand it.

  2. Build the standards

Standards are written, published, and agreed to by leadership. Everyone can read what is expected of them.

  3. Inspect and enforce

A coaching period comes first, so people can learn the new way of working. Then enforcement starts, and it is owned by your leaders.

  4. Transfer ownership

Your organization keeps running the system without depending on Plinth Legacy. That is how the engagement is meant to end.

Measurement

Milestone reviews

We review progress at 90 days, 6 months, and 12 months. Each review measures the work against written Definitions of Done and the operating KPIs agreed at the start.

You see what is finished, what is not, and what happens next.

What clients commit to

The work only holds if leadership stands behind it. We ask for three things:

  • Timely decisions. Questions that need an owner's answer get one quickly.
  • Leadership backing for the standards. Leaders follow the standards and support enforcement.
  • Access to the people doing the work. We talk to the front line, not only to management.

See if it is a fit.

Start with a conversation about where your organization is today and where it needs to be.
